Grizzly Pulp are the publishers of a new line of books who are bringing back the dark past of pulp fiction. The kind that you could only get at your corner liquor store from behind the counter in a brown paper bag along with a fifth of rock gut. The unsocial media of days gone by, Mister.
Our hero Tokey Wedge is the feller in the first series of books that we are bringing back to life and believe you me buster, Tokey gets around to say the least. During his time, a dive bar wasn't just a place to get a drink, it was a private dick’s home office. A bottle of scotch was your office equipment & a napkin was your “smart” phone, pal!

Our plan at Grizzly Pulp was to release the first series of six titles this year with more to come next year and then the next. This pandemic has abruptly changed all of our plans and not for the better. We were thinking it would be cool to introduce these gems not in bookstores, certainly not on line but in a slightly more comfortable setting; your favorite dive bar.
Guess what? You already guessed it, they're closed until further notice! Now what? Well, first and foremost, it's time to get those bars back on their feet so they don't stay closed forever and will still have plenty of booze and cold beer when the governors give the green light. Some of these bars have reached out to their community and asked for help and we think that is a swell idea.
Below is a list of some of our favorites, the kind of place Tokey would call home. We've thrown them a few bucks and ask that you consider the same. A guy and a gal without a local dive bar, well, it just ain't right. Help these guys out and keep an eye for news from Grizzly Pulp!
